Well CHEERWINE friends...this is a very special photo. This is Mr. Mault and he is pictured in the 1939 photo that is seen on my main page. His Dad was one of the very first employees back when Mr. Peeler got things started and was given the very first delivery truck. I was invited to spend time with Mr. Mault and his wife and we spent hours talking about the CHEERWINE beginning. He shared so much about the past with me and it was truly a special day for me as a fan & collector.
Mr. Mault was able to give me the list of all the people in that historic photo and also shared with me some other rare personal photos of him and his Dad during his CHEERWINE days. Mr. Mault is the man in the middle (photo on left) and started working for Mr. Peeler at the age of 14. He would walk to work after school, and continued working at CHEERWINE for many years until later getting into law enforcement. Mr. Mault's Dad is on the left, and also in the photo of the three men behind the production machine on the "History Page". He is the man in the middle of that photo. I hope everyone is enjoying this neat look at the CHEERWINE past!!!
These two photos are from the inside of the Granite Falls, NC bottling plant. They were sent to me from my friends at Antique Vending. It is neat to see all of that old CHEERWINE.
This was my best searching weekend ever!! Everytime I go out looking for rare items, I am happy when I find anything CHEERWINE related, however to get these signs in the same weekend was like striking gold. The bench sign is an original from 1955. They are all in mint or extremely excellent condition and I feel lucky to have these rare signs in my collection.
I just had to share this photo of my wife and Brianna enjoying the lights of the game room. They think this is the neatest room!!
Here is my dream ride!! A restored CHEERWINE truck that would be great to use on my CHEERWINE hunting adventures!
This is a neat photo that David from the Boston, MA area sent me. It is of his car that he made into the "CHEERWINEmobile". Thanks David for the great photo and keep them coming!!
This is a restored sign on one of the buildings in downtown Salisbury, NC. Stay tuned for more neat CHEERWINE related photos!! Click the icon below to go back to the main page.
This is Central Lunch in Albemarle, NC. It is a local landmark and the first place I remember ordering a CHEERWINE. My Mom gave this print to me for Christmas(05) so I could add it to my collection, and always remember this historic place.
