From the soda fountains to the old general stores...CHEERWINE sure brought a lot of smiles to everyone. I hope you enjoy this neat look back into the past and see some rare advertising that brings back memories for you.
These very rare posters are 2 of a group of 4 that are known to exist. I own these two and Mr. Ritchie at CHEERWINE has one of a lady with the dart board as seen on the reproduction serving trays. There is one other one floating around out there and I would love to find it one day. These are very rare and are neat items to have. I cherish mine and consider them foundation pieces in my collection.
Even in the early years, CHEERWINE gave people a reason to cheer! This sign dates back to the 1930's and as you can see, the cheerleader became an important part of the company's advertising. CHEERWINE got away from the yellow and green colors in the 1940's, however brought it back in the early 1990's with the reproduction paper lable porcelain sign you can see futher below.
This sign is commonly called the "Diamond Sign" and captures one of CHEERWINE'S first slogans "FOR HEALTH & PLEASURE". It brings a smile to my face everytime! From my research, this sign came it two different sizes and colors. The yellow trim dates back to the early 1940's while there are silver trimmed dimond signs that date back to the mid 1940's. I have a photo of my silver trimed sign on page #4 of advertising.
The red oval is a wonderful logo for CHEERWINE. The company produced many different signs using this template. This sign above shows the red oval with an eight sided bottle displayed on the left hand side.
Mr. Peeler would be so proud of the growth CHEERWINE has shown over the last several decades. I am sure he is watching down on all of us CHEERWINE fans, and is sitting back right now enjoying a cold CHEERWINE with all of his friends.
This great oldie, but goodie has been called the "CHEERWINE stop sign" and is very hard to find these days. As you enjoy the next few pages of advertising, it is neat to see how CHEERWINE has changed over the years. I hope you're enjoying this fun look back in time.
This is one of my favorite signs that I own. It was introduced in a numbered group of 500, however they sold so well that CHEERWINE later introduced another group of non-numbered 500. No matter which one you may have, you have a great piece of CHEERWINE past.
This was the very first item I received when I started collecting. It is also my first sign, and I hold this one very dear to my heart. It was a gift from Sheila in Albemarle, N.C. and will forever be cherished. The old bench signs used to be placed on benches around the city, barber shops, etc... It is in great condition and is an original.
Cheerwine has since introduced this beautiful reproduction of the bench sign above. This is a must for any CHEERWINE fan and if you would like one of these, please email me and I will be more than happy to help you find one.

These are some of the newest CHEERWINE signs for all of us CHEERWINE fanatics. They were introduced with the new "Retro" bottles and have been a great success. They come in two different styles (with or without a thermometer) and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Please enjoy the next three pages for more great advertising from the past!!
WELCOME TO THE GOOD OLE DAYS OF CHEERWINE ADVERTISING.
This is a TRUE CLASSIC! I love being able to share the past with all of my fellow CHEERWINE friends. This sign shows great design for it's time period. Sometimes I get asked why I have such a passion to keep the CHEERWINE history alive. My response is... that if don't, who will?? My love for CHEERWINE is so much more than the product itself. It is the enjoyment I get from hunting for these items and all the great people I meet along the way. The stories behind the items are just as important as the items themselves. If you have a great CHEERWINE story, please email me and I would love to hear it.
